The Bow Tie Brothers
Jabez and Christopher Jenkins are brothers and the owners and designers of Kings and Gents Accessories, also known as the Bow Tie Brothers in Atlanta. They started sewing when they were 5 and 3 and choosing fabric at 7 and 6 years old. They choose, cut and sew the fabrics for their bow ties. They were the only-kid designers at Atlanta International Fashion Week when they were 13 and 12. Their goal is to have their bow ties carried in Macy's. They have a kid-friendly book, The Kidpreneur Challenge, that helps kids start their own business in three simple steps. With their book, they host one-hour workshops to help kids start businesses. They have been given their own holiday, Kidpreneur Day, that is celebrated every year on April 29th in their hometown of Covington, GA. Their story has been featured on Fox 5 News, Channel 2 News, 11 Alive News, People 2 People, The Morning Rush ATL, Wake Up with Chesley morning show, iHeart Radio, and Southern Living Magazine.
